Title : Scope & Limitation

Objective :

• To understand the ability of our project function.
• To identify the scope and the limitation of the project.

Content / Producer :

Scope of the project;

• The scope of this project is focus to kids with average age 7 years old and below who can’t reach or find the switch of light at their room or at bedroom. Also the people who forget to turn off their room light switch.
• This project also help parents from worrying their kids’ waste the electricity uses in their house indeed their kids forget to turn off the switch of light.
• Also helps the safety of the family at house especially to detect or signs early the heat or smokers for example if they forget to turn off iron after use and requiring them to take action if the buzzer sounds.

The limitations of the project is;

• For automatic light switch only focus at room door can we build the inductive proximity switches to generate magnetic field because with this technology can easily to build up at house. Besides that, we more focus at room because many people forget to turn off the switch after go out from their room also with the kids. These features of the product can’t be built at living or kitchen because some house doesn’t have door at this two place and we don’t know how to place the inductive proximity switches.
• For the sensor alarm only can be place at kitchen because kitchen have high tendency to dangerous place at house. Especially when we cooking then we forget to turn off the fire or we put many equipment with the high current at the kitchen. This alarm just made the buzzer sound and the people at house have to make it move if the buzzer are alert of dangerous happens because if we set the alarm with the output of water can you imagine you lose the equipment at kitchen that are all expensive and have high current. That’s why we only set this feature with the output just the siren sound either that set up the output with water to avoid the short circuit.

Result: We understood on how to take care of this device. 

Conclusion: The ability and lack of the device of our project must be consider seriously to avoid any other problem in the future.
